Haha! What a spectacular sight that must have been this morning when Team USA came from behind in the series and pinched the America’s Cup back from the Kiwi’s, who I’m sure a few days ago felt they were home and hosed!!!

I had to have a chuckle though, when our TV presenters proudly advised that there was only one American on board … almost the entire crew was made up of foreigners (7 Aussies and 1 Brit that I know of … not sure how many others were on board!).

Still, it was a fantastic achievement by Team USA to come back and win like that! Well done to all concerned!

And as for those pesky Kiwi’s? I think their Prime Minister hit the nail on the head with a simple Twitter post. It read … “Bugger!”

Sorry … but I just couldn’t think of anything better to put in the subject line! Sad, huh? lol

Well, unfortunately I can’t report that I have something new to post — although work is definitely continuing in that department — so, what I thought I’d tell you about are some of the stories I’ve been reading recently!!!

You may have taken a look at my Recommended Readings page, on which I have posted links to some stories that I have really enjoyed reading and I thought you might like also. I’m pleased to say that a couple of these stories, even though complete, have now been added to, with brand new parts and story lines!

These are Gotham Prep (by BE Kelley) and Riding Lessons (by Andrew Todd), the continuations for both of which I am really enjoying!

There is also a new story I would like to add to the list this week, one which is about 10 chapters in at the moment and is shaping up really nicely. It is called Birds Don’t Sing Before a Storm and has been written by Ronyx. Please do yourself a favour and check it out! And don’t forget to let Ron know what you think of it!

I’d also like to thank the new readers who have written me this week after Mardi Gras Murders was given a shout out on the Awesome Dude website. Thank you to Awesome Dude and also to those who took the time to say hello. Your very kind words are very much appreciated!

Okay then, that will have to do for this week I think … it’s time I got back to work!

OK, just so you know, things are still bubbling along!

I’ve just added another new chapter to Mardi Gras Murders for you all . . . we’re up to chapter 8 now . . . so I hope you enjoy!

In the three months since this new site was put online, we’ve now also had more than 3,500 page visits from 40 countries! Thanks everyone for your support!

OK then, I’ll get back to writing now!

Yes, I know, it has been a while since I dived back in here, but I’ve been busy . . . honest!

At least this time I can say I have something for you though . . . yup, a brand new chapter of the long neglected ‘Mardi Gras Murders’ !!!

You can find it – and the other chapters for this story – under the menu’s at the top of the page (just take note that chapters 4 thru 6 are currently being re-edited and will be posted here in the same way just as soon as they are back!).

As you may note, I’m migrating these new stories over onto the new website, which will of course take some time, but once they are all done it should be easy enough to find everything through the menu’s.

And in other news . . . I really have been busy, with not only the new chapter of MGM(and re-writes of the earlier chapters), I’ve also done some re-writes and re-editing of my original story After We Danced, as well as quite a lot of work on two new stories, so please keep an eye out for notifications about those!

Hey, I’ve also just checked the site stats and we’re now up to almost 3,000 page views in the two and a half months or so since I began re-building the website, and that’s from 37 different countries! I’m really surprised (and impressed) by that, so a big Thank You to everyone who has paid me a visit!

Okay then, I should get back to work, I guess.

I know I haven’t done much more work on this… it has been an eventful week… but we’re now at over 900 page views, coming from 15 countries so far. 

I’m seriously happy with that! Thank you to those who have been visiting!  I’ll try and get something new finished and posted soon for you.   🙂

Right then…

Thanks very much for the messages I’ve received, both here on on Facebook about the new site. A quick look at the stats tells me that it has been visited by people from Australia, the US and Canada so far, which is awesome!

Not many changes to report today, although I have added some new listings and links to the Recommended Readings page … so please check them out, and oh, be sure to let the authors know if you enjoyed their story!

Okay then, some more progress has been made!

I’ve set up pages for My Stories, plus separate pages for stories by Other Authors (mainly being for stories I have helped out with) and for my Recommended Readings (stories I have enjoyed and would like to share).

On the My Stories page I have listed all the stories I currently have online, and for the time being I have provided links to where they are currently being hosted – at least until such times as I can complete some editing, re-writing and re-formatting to bring them across onto this new site.

Progress is slow … but at least that’s better than no progress at all! 😛

Okay then . . . I’ve finally started on the website renovation! Not too much achieved just yet, but a plan is starting to form. Have also been looking at the WordPress sites of a few other writers and gathering some ideas, so hopefully I’ll start to get some bits and pieces done soon. 🙂
