Well, tomorrow is something of an important date . . . November 11th! So, in commemoration of this I thought I might just pop up one of my earlier stories, which is directly related to this event, just as a reminder. Please take a look at, and hopefully enjoy, Armistice.

I thought this was particularly relevant given the uncertain times we are living in.

And in other news, let’s see now . . . I’m still working on re-edits and reposting of stories for the GayAuthors and IOMFATS websites . . . I’m working on an Epilogue chapter for The Seventeenth Summer (before I delve too deeply into work on the sequel) . . . I’m working on additional chapters to my IOMFATS challenge story A Prince and his Pauper . . . plus some new chapters to a couple of other existing stories . . .

So, yeah, I know I haven’t added much new stuff lately, but it is coming. Thank you all so much for your comments and reactions to my stories, and above all, thank you for your patience! I’ll let you know of any new postings just as soon as they are ready to go!

I was having a discussion recently amongst the small group of writers I belong to and correspond with almost daily, and an email was circulated containing a meme that listed words that seemed to be rarely used these days.

The conversation was interesting, and of course someone made the statement that it would be an interesting challenge to see how many of these old words could be used in a story.

Then of course that got my brain ticking over, and before I knew it, I had a story forming!

Sorry it’s been a while since I’ve commented on here folks. I haven’t been idle though. I’ve been busy working on a number of things, including edits to my existing stories so they can be posted on IOMFATS.org and GayAuthors.org, as well as writing some new stuff, and planning for other new stories (including some continuations of old favourites).

At any given time I might have three or four stories I am either seriously working on, or tinkering with, so even though it might sometime seem like I haven’t been doing anything, I really am still working on something LOL

So, where are we at?

So far my first three stories, After We Danced, The Rip and Song For Guy, have been re-edited and posted on both IOMFATS and GA. Part of the reason for this is to try and expand my readership, and the response I have received so far, from both new and old readers has been awesome, for which I am extreeemly grateful. 🙂

I will update the versions of these stories on this site, as well as add a few new links to the Recommended Readings list and make a few other changes, just as soon as I get a chance.

I am also working on re-editing the remaining stories in that series (Thompsonville and A Good Place), as well as doing some more development on the next in the series (Out of the Blue).

A little while back I wrote a Challenge story that appeared on IOMFATS, which was titled A Prince and His Pauper (please visit iomfats.org/storyshelf/contests/2024-better for the list of stories in this Challenge) . . . and naturally I couldn’t stop at just one chapter, so that is the new stuff that I have been working on of late.

For the immediate future the next task will be to start posting The Seventeenth Summer to both IOMFATS and GA, while I am still working on the re-edits for Thompsonville. At least it doesn’t need another round of edits, as my editor, Mike, and I did that as I was re-writing it from its original form (where it was posted as Sandmen). Of course, it also has a sequel that I need to get back to soon as well! 🙂

So, as you can see, there is quite a bit happening. If it’s new stuff your waiting on, please be patient for just a little while longer!

So, just to bring everyone up to speed . . . the After We Danced revival is underway, with the edits completed and now being posted on IOMFATS.org.

Some eagle eyed readers my notice that there are a couple of extra chapters, but have no fear, this is just cosmetic … the story is still the same, it is just that I have split two very large chapters, which has added the two new chapters.

And in other news I have also recently joined the ranks of GayAuthors.org and have started posting there, starting with the short story Chances, as well as AWD.

More stories will be added to these sites as the editing of the whole series progresses.

In the mean time, I’m working on a few new additional chapters for some other stories, so please stay tunes!

Hi folks. An update for today . . . I have just posted a Chapter 2 for one of my stories that began last year, JOYRIDE (you will find it under my Thompson River Tales collection).

When young Joey Dunn boosted that shiny new Ford a week before Christmas back in 1965, he had no idea just where that act might lead him! Let the adventure begin!

I have also sent this off to Nifty.Org today and will also be forwarding it onto Dabeagle as well, the other sites where this is currently being hosted.

And in other news, my very first story, AFTER WE DANCED, will be making an appearance on IOMFATS.ORG this coming week, following a freshen up with a new edit, thanks to my editor, Michael. I am very grateful to Tim at IOMFATS for the opportunity to be able to add my stories to his site and bring them to a new audience. We will be adding the remaining stories in the series to IOMFATS as well, once they have all been given a freshen up!

There is also more happening in the background at the moment, with more stories in the works, so stay tuned! 🙂

Well folks, just a quick update on what’s been happening and what’s going to be happening in my world. 🙂

The final chapter of STOCKROOM SECRETS was this week posted on Nifty. I certainly enjoyed writing this one and I’m so glad that so many people have enjoyed reading it. Thank you to those who have already sent me emails or messages about this story. Your comments are very much appreciated.

Currently I am working on new chapters for JOYRIDE and a few other stories, which will all be posted once ready. I’m also reviewing a partially completed story, SEVENTEEN AGAIN, which is a sequel to my book The SEVENTEENTH SUMMER, and that will be the next major project I will be working towards completing.

I have also been in discussions with Tim from the IOMFATS website, about my earlier stories being posted there, and as a result I am in the process of giving AFTER WE DANCED a review and general tidy up, before sending it off to Tim. The same will happen with the subsequent stories in that series.

While working on these projects I am not sure how much new material will be getting posted, but I will try to make sure to at least have something I can offer you from time to time.

Hey ya’ll, I’m still in the land of the living, just in case anyone was wondering. Let me tell ya, between my real job, the farm and my writing there’s never a dull moment! lol

So, this week I wanted to let you know that the final chapter for Beyond Salvation has been sent off to Nifty and should appear shortly. It is also with IOMFATS, so will appear there as well. Other sites will follow shortly.

This journey with JJ and Dallas and friends has been a long one, and I have to admit that I’m a little sad that I have reached this point, as I love these guys, but never fear, I promise they will be back … they still have to survive another year at Saint Joseph’s Catholic High School yet, so there are bound to be new challenges awaiting them.

I can also let you know that I have already started to draft out their next story, but it will be a while before that one gets to the point of having enough chapters to start posting it . . . so stay tuned! You’ll hear it here first once it’s getting closer!

Stockroom Secrets is also continuing to be posted on Nifty, as is A Good Place.

So, what next then? On my “to do” list are some more stories set in the Thompsonville universe, which had previously been put on the back-burner. There will be some new chapters to existing short stories, along with two new full length novels, which are either already underway, or are in the works. So stay tuned for these! I’ll try not to make you wait too long for these! 🙂

Hey ya’ll. What can I say . . . things have been busy and I’ve just been slack. Sorry.

So, I thought I should give an update on what’s been happening of late.

‘Stockroom Secrets’ is still being posted weekly on Nifty, as are the new chapters of ‘Beyond Salvation’ (which is also being posted on Dabeagle and IOMFATS). I will try and get the rest of ‘Beyond Salvation’ loaded on here as soon as I get a chance.

‘A Good Place’ (which has been on here in its entirety for some time) is also getting uploaded to Nifty weekly.

As I’m still working on ‘Beyond Salvation’ at the moment there isn’t anything else new to load, but I’ll put out some notifications once I get to that point. I have some new chapters for ‘Joyride’ and ‘Traditions’ in the planning stages, along with another story set in the Thompsonville universe.

Hi folks, just thought I would let you know what’s happening with updates at the moment 🙂

Chapter 14 of Beyond Salvation has been posted this week here, on IOMFATS and Nifty! Please enjoy!

Thought I might also share a little experimentation I’ve been doing using some AI software, creating an image of our favourite BS boys, JJ and Dallas. There was a bit involved in creating this, but I’m reasonably happy with the output. I hope you are too? 🙂
