First off, let me apologise for the lack of a post last week . . . I just wasn’t within range of my computer on Thursday or Friday . . . 😦

So, today I’m giving you the two revised chapters of Thompsonville that should have been posted last week, as well as the two revised chapters for this weeks post!

And you might be pleased to know that the new chapter of Sandmen is away being edited at the moment, so it won’t be long before you see that one!

Well, it’s officially the first day of spring around here, so I thought I might just do this week’s post a couple of days early, you know, to celebrate! 😉

But first, in honour of the new season, I thought you might like to check out our national flower . . . the Golden Wattle, which are well and truly ‘out’ right now (no hiding in the closet for these beauties! lol)

Okay then, now that’s out of the way, down to business, with two revised chapters of Thompsonville being posted for you! 😉

G’day folks. Here we go again!

Just letting you know that two revised chapters for Thompsonville have been posted today!  I wish there was more for you today . . . but again it’s still not quite ready.  😦

Still, I hope you’re enjoying seeing these older stories being fixed up a little and posted on this site . . . especially seeing as they hadn’t been posted on here yet. Once I’ve finished with Thompsonville that’s the last of the older stories to be revised, so I’ll be able to concentrate once more on some of the other projects that I’ve been chipping away at in recent times.

Anyhow, rest assured, I am still toiling away and I have plenty still to come for you!

Howdy folks!  I hope you’ve all had a good week?

Mine has been interesting . . . I won a prize at a trivia night, won another prize in a raffle, endured an annual performance review at my place of employment, attended a funeral for an old family friend, and in amongst all that I came up with another story idea!

I’ve also received some lovely emails from some new readers who have discovered my stories on CRVBoy and AwesomeDude.

Who said life was dull? LOL

So, that brings us to this weeks updates!

I wish I had more to offer you, but alas, all I have at the moment are the first two revised chapters of Thompsonville.

More chapters of Sandmen and Prisoner of Carronne are set to follow, but they just weren’t quite ready to go for this week.

Hello all. Yup it’s that time of the week again!  🙂

Well, it has been a busy week for me, between work and sending off the revised version of The Rip to both Awesomdude and CRVBoy, but at least in between it all I’ve managed to get some writing done.  🙂

So, this week I have for you the final two revised chapters of Song For Guy, along with the much awaited (well, at least based on my constantly being asked when it was coming! lol) next chapter of Sandmen.

Next week I will start posting the first chapters of the revised version of Thompsonville, and I’ll see what else I can rustle up for you!

Howdy folks, yup, it’s that time of the week again. Sorry I’m running a little late today, I had stuff to do in town, plus I was hoping the new chapter of Sandmen would be back from being edited. Alas that wasn’t to be, so all I can offer you today are two more revised chapters of Song For Guy.

Yeah.  A bit odd that, eh?

At the moment the sun might be shining, but I just went outside for some wood for the fire and there is ICE in the wind. The prediction is for more snow tonight, so I guess we’ll just have to wait and see!

At least it’s good weather for curling up in front of the fire with a good book, or iPad, or Kindle, or whatever your instrument of choice may be! 🙂

So, with that in mind, today I offer another new chapter for Prisoner of Carronne, and two more revised chapters of Song For Guy!

Well, that didn’t quite eventuate, but still is was cold enough and wet enough and it snowed enough to want to stay inside for most of the weekend!

Some of you have asked whether or not I got hit by the cold blast that the news channels had predicted . . . well, here’s what happened! 😉

When I woke up this morning the farm was covered with snow, especially out on the open areas. The back yard had a thick layer, broken only by the tracks of a dog who was loose! lol

As you can see, feeding the horses was a bit of a challenge today! 😉

Unfortunately the batteries were flat in my camera, so I couldn’t take any photos, but I managed to pinch one from my neighbour’s FB page which gives some idea of what it all looked like . . .

By the time I left for work this morning the drizzle was back and quite a lot of the snow was gone . . . but apparently there’s more on the way! **sigh**

Anyhow, I think this is about enough snow for me. It’s about as much we get most years, and it doesn’t stay around forever . . . unlike that big dump we had back in 1984, which is what we had been told to expect! lol

It will be interesting to see if we get a repeat dose tomorrow now!
