Hello All … just a couple of things for you today!
Firstly, I’m excited to say that we’ve just passed the 10,000 page views mark for the new site! And here’s a screen shot of the stats page just to prove it! 😉

I’ve just added Chapter 9 of Mardi Gras Murders to the site, as well as having started to have the story posted on both Nifty and CRVBoy!

I just wanted to say I enjoyed your Christmas offering. Sadly though, I think you missed an opportunity. The fact that it was two people of different races meant that there was an opportunity to explore the “tricky” subject of race relations even though the young gentleman claimed not to have any racial bias. Particularly so in Australia, which I have personally visited, and where there is underlying problems between the whites and the Aboriginals. I found your story to be exploratory and yet very warm. But, I still think that after the initial meeting, it could have been explored further.

And yes, the subject is one that could have been explored in greater depth — and it should be — but at the time I was focusing more on a quick finish rather than anything deeper. I can tell you that I have another story in the works in which the theme is the changing face of Australian culture, so the subject will most likely be dealt with to a great er extent in that one! 😉
