…this weeks updates!
Hi Folks. Yes, I’m still in the land of the living … although just by how much I’m not sure, as my flu is now a possible lung infection. Anyhow, onwards and upwards, as they say, so here are this weeks offerings! 🙂
Three more chapters of A Good Place have been posted, along with new chapters for both The Prisoner of Carronne and Sandmen!
I’m afraid the Sandmen story has gotten a little out of hand and is threatening to become a full blown story in its own right, but we’ll just have to see what I can do! Originally it was only going to be another ‘short’, but once I got my teeth into it I found there was a deeper story there, which I wanted to explore. What it may mean is that progress with Carronne won’t be quite as swift as I had originally planned, but hey, it’s all reader fodder for you guys isn’t it? 😉
Anyhow, I hope you enjoy these new chapters.

MARK, I’m praying that you take care of yourself enough to keep from being hospitalized with PNEUMONIA!!! Because it is way too easy to go from the Flu to PNEUMONIA, make sure you consume plenty Chicken Soup— in spite of the putdowns by many people it is proven FACT that Chicken Soup will make your ailing body BETTER!!! So work hard please to GET AND STAY WELL!

Had another visit to the doc today … now they’ve tested me for Whooping Cough … which is apparently doing the rounds again! 😦
Hopefully, you have kept up your Boosters, so that Whooping Cough is not really a possibility, Work on getting well!!! As much as we love the Stories— you not being well could mean we don’t have updates for a while if you get yourself really sick! SO PLEASE TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF— after all as we get older and live alone it is easy to NOT TAKE CARE of yourself!!!

Still battling the effects of the bug, but at least I was able to get back to work this week, so it’s not all bad! Now if I could just find some more time for writing? 😉

Interesting full array of characters in ‘The Prisoner of Carrone!’ But now that we know of Carel and it also seems that Rae, LutherJamal has some powers as well— and with Chandar & the Sword of Erasmus— with a few more Knights with them all working together SURELY Rae can be rescued and William and Richard restored to duties as well!!!
It seems that the Royal House needs to be RESTORED— and magic would definitely help do that, since the Curse was cast for Septimus to rule, and it is time for his rule to end!!! Is Chandar the one who killed Septimus’ Son, and that is the reason for trying to keep Rae from the Throne? Maybe it is a DRAGON, who needs to face Septimus, ALONG WITH THE ORDER!
Hi Chet. Thanks for your interesting comments. It looks as if you’ve probably already guessed that this is a land where everything isn’t quite what it seems, and that there will be a great deal of intrigue still to come. I can answer one of your questions though … it was Luther who killed the son of Septimus, which is why he is hell bent on getting Luther and Rae in the same place … as to whether or not that will do him any good is another question all together! 😉
WORKING ON READING SANDMEN AGAIN! This almost seems like it should be the story of Dan & Jake that is ‘Mrs. Hammo’s Boys’ as you mentioned them in ” A Good Place”— or am I just wanting it to be the Background Story for these two in that Story.
Hmmm… you’ve picked up on one of my errors! LOL
I had honestly totally forgotten about the characters of Dan and Jake in ‘A Good Place’ when I started writing ‘Sandmen’ … otherwise I would have chosen different names. Unfortunately they aren’t the same couple, however, as there is at least twenty-five years difference between the settings for the two stories. I’m afraid that if I wrote a background story about Mrs Hammo’s boys that would probably only confuse the issue even more, so for now (at least) I think I’ll leave that well enough alone! 🙂
Sorry for the dilemma, because I was getting just a little confused with the two couples having the same names. Part of the problem is that there’s also a Nate in ‘A GOOD PLACE,’ I think. That is what confused me in the first place.
Suggestion rename the guys in ‘Sandmen’ before we get further in the story— place a NOTICE at the beginning of the next Chapter explaining the problem as to why, then maybe check Tony’s list of names that he was sent before Harry came to T’ville. We’ll adjust to the change of names and that Revision can take place AFTER you have finished story— just let us get used to the new names in the first of the new Chapters. Just don’t use Davy and Jack wither!!! Seems like an easy solution— maybe not!!!
