Missing in action?

Well, not really! But I will admit to neglecting this page, as I’ve been rather busy elsewhere! You see, as you may recall I mentioned joining the Gay Authors community a year or so ago, and this has meant that I have been somewhat busy with posting my back-catalogue to that site.

So, with re-editing and re-posting my earlier stories, as well as chipping away on some new stuff, and then getting a promotion at work, you can probably imagine just how busy this year has been.

Please don’t fret though. Even while re-editing and re-posting my earlier stories, I have also managed to post several new chapters of my story “Traditions” on Gay Authors, while also planning to continue with some other stories, in addition to mapping out some new stories!

I can also see that I need to do some updates here and finish posting some stories here that seem to have been stalled, so I will get onto that!

Thank you all for your patience! And please keep an eye out for future updates!

Happy reading

    Hello

It would be great if you could update the story links on Ponyboyspace, as quite a few links fail, especially for reccommended authors!!

I can’t get access to these stories.

Also have you updated A Good Place on the other sites?? It needs an update/sequel please. Like you did for beyond salvation.

    New stuff is best.

    Regards

    Simon

      Hi Simon

Thanks very much for the message and the info about the broken links. I’ve checked those out and it appears that those pages don’t exist anymore, sadly, so I’ll remove those links and try to do a couple of updates today.

A Good Place has been loaded to the Gay Authors site and is currently being added to IOMFATS as well. This is a re-edited version of the original (just to tidy up a few errors). As for a sequel, there is another story in the works for adding to the whole series, though it is still a fair way off being ready to start posting as yet. It is coming though, and the title is Out of the Blue.

And I also agree . . . new stuff is best . . . so I’ll try and make an effort to finish off one of my current works in progress as soon as possible!

      Thanks again for your comments!

Thanks for the update, but i note that Shearing Time and Hot Summer Saturday still have failing links!!

As far as Gay Authors site is concerned, has the story in the last few chapters of a Good Place changed? I re read it recently but didn’t spot any update, but that wasnt via Gay Authors site!!

I like the Thompsonville map and really wished that it had been included in the first book. And that it was clearer (less foggy).

Lastly I liked Mardi Gras Murders…. also read it again recently… I’d like a sequel too.

        Thanks

        Hi Simon

Sorry, I didn’t check Shearing Time and Hot Summer Saturday but I have now and can see what the problem is … those links are on some old web space I had, which his long gone. I’ll check with the guys to see if they posted them anywhere else … I think they may be on Nifty, but not sure.

No, there weren’t any changes to the story as far as the different places A Good Place was posted. All I did on the GA version (for all my stories posting there) is a re-edit for grammar and stuff like that. All pretty minor really, so you haven’t missed out on anything.

Re the Thompsonville map … were you looking at the Figment of My Imagination posts on my Vocal.Media pages? The version I added on Part One of that wasn’t the best, so I tweaked it a little (increased font sizes) for the Part Two version. In either case it’s not perfect when viewed on the page, because the software reduces it to fit the page, which distorts the fonts slightly, making them fuzzy. Try saving the map to your device and then viewing it … at 100% it is clear. Or you could try opening the image in a new tab or window. Hope that helps.

And lastly … yes, Mardi Gras Murders also has a sequel (or two) in the works. At the moment I have quite a few stories that are ‘in development’ … my only trouble is having enough time to actually work at writing. Unfortunately having a full time job kind of gets in the way of being able to do this writing thing as much as I would like to.

I am always tinkering with something though, so stay tuned. Any updates will be posted on here first.

Thanks again for all your feedback. It is very much appreciated. 🙂

        Cheers

        Mark
