Hello folks! Well, it’s Thursday yet again, so it’s time for some new chapters!

Three new chapters for A Good Place and three revised chapters for After We Danced have now been added!

Well folks, you’ve blown me away … or should I say, you’ve blown the record away! Yesterday was our biggest day so far on ponyboysplace.com, with 1357 page views! It is very satisfying knowing that there are so many folks out there who are still enjoying what I am posting. Thank you!

Thank you also for the feedback I am continuing to receive, either in comments on here, or by email.

When I set out to write A Good Place — which was actually two years ago now — I simply wanted to wrap up the series that began with After We Danced, just to see what happened to all the guys ten years down the track. Once I started writing, however, it soon became evident that I would need to exceed the original 10,000 or so words that I thought I would need. I did end up quite surprised that it took me another 170,000 words before I finished the story, but in the end it was a story I enjoyed writing and was quite happy to put out there for everyone to read.

Many of you have come up with your own ideas and made suggestions about what should happen and where the story should go, which I have enjoyed reading. Just keep in mind though, that the story is already complete and was written two years ago, so you might just have to wait a little while to see how far off the mark your suggestions might be! 😉

Anyhow, seeing as you’ve all been so good to me I thought I’d give you a little present, by posting another chapter!

Well folks, I was worried I might not get them posted in time, but I’ve finally managed to get it done … and even with a couple of hours to spare! lol

If you’re wondering why I’ve chosen Thursday as my day for posting, well, it’s because it is a day when I don’t usually work, which gives me some time to do other things. Today, however, I had to work, so I had to leave it until tonight before I could get started on the updates.

So, that having been said, I can now let you know that three more chapters of A Good Place have now been posted for you. I hope you enjoy them!

I have also begun the process of posting the revised version of After We Danced, with the first three chapters of this, my first story, also being posted here.

As I have said previously, my intentions are simply to make some corrections to my earlier stories via re-writes and edits, specifically so that I could then update this site with the new versions, as well as work toward (eventually) having a small print-run done of each story. I don’t think you will notice too many changes, as I have tried to keep the changes to a minimum, while also trying to ensure that the feel of the stories don’t change, but I have felt for a long time that the fixes were definitely necessary.

Once I finish posting the new version of After We Danced I will then start with the other early stories; The Rip, Song For Guy and Thompsonville, which will bring this entire series up to date! 🙂

Then after that . . . let’s just say I have a whole list of unfinished stories that I want to complete! Looks like I’m going to be busy for a while yet! 😉

Well, it’s Thursday again, which is the day I’m intending on doing my postings each week, so I’ve just updated the site with two new chapters of A Good Place!

And I’d just like to say a big thank you to everyone who responded following the posting of Armistice last week! I truly appreciate your kind words and I’m very pleased that so many of you enjoyed the story.

Well folks, after a few days where my dodgy internet connection hasn’t had enough oommppff to be able to upload anything, I’ve finally managed to get a couple more chapters of A Good Place loaded for you! I hope you enjoy them!

I’ve also loaded the new short story for you that I mentioned last week, which is the first in a series to be called Thompson River Tales. The story is called Armistice and is a story set during the First World War, about two of Thompsonville’s sons.

Just letting you know that I’ve just posted chapters 15 and 16 of A Good Place.
Thank you so much for the feedback you have been giving me for this story . . . it was one that I had hoped would grow on people, and it seems to be doing just that! 🙂
This week I’ve been doing some more work on the re-writes and re-edits for my earlier stories, so that I can re-post them on here. I’m currently about half way through After We Danced, and have sent The Rip off for editing, so as soon as these are done I will post the new versions on here.
I have also started a little work on something I have wanted to do for a while, a series of short stories set in and around Thompsonville down through the years, to be known as Thompson River Tales. The first of these stories is partly written and I will post it just as soon as it is finished.

Wow! What can I say folks … I’m almost speechless!
Thank you so much for your response to the final chapters of Mardi Gras Murders! Your messages and emails mean a great deal to me!
Sorry for dragging it out so long … but it had to end on just the right note … and I’d like to think I managed that by adding the epilogue. I’m a bit worried, however, about the death threats that came once some of you had finished Chapter 35 and before you read the epilogue! I know you didn’t really mean it … did you? lol
I’m also quite excited about the response I’ve been receiving for A Good Place. It seems this story is really growing on people … which is exactly what I wanted to happen … so I hope you continue to enjoy it as we explore Tony and Aaron’s reunion and everything else that goes on in Thompsonville.
And to top it all off, yesterday was officially our biggest day EVER! There were 1267 page views for the day, and the total number of page views are now over 150,000! That’s pretty awesome!
